Missed Appointment/Late Cancellation Policy
At B Intentional, we trust you share our belief that therapy/coaching is only helpful when there is a shared commitment to the process by therapist and yourself as the client. We understand there will be times when you may be sick or other unavoidable/emergency events will prevent you from keeping your regularly scheduled therapy appointment. If this occurs, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to reschedule the missed appointment and fill your slot with another appointment.
We will do whatever we can to be available to you and accommodate your schedule whenever possible when making appointments. It is expected, in turn, that you will schedule appointments in good faith and facilitate adequate time in your schedule to keep your therapy a priority.
A Missed Appointment is defined as a missed appointment on the part of the client for which neither good cause nor notice was given. A Late Cancellation is defined as notification of cancellation from the client that occurs with less than 24 hours notice. A Missed Appointment/ Late Cancellation policy is necessary for B Intentional to be able to offer quality therapeutic and coaching services. When scheduling an appointment we reserve that space specifically for you. When we are not notified of a cancellation in a timely manner we are left unable to fill that space and other clients do not have the opportunity to utilize that time. Please take note of the following:
*All office visits are by appointment and may be scheduled via phone, email, or in person. Please arrive on time, as you use up your own time when you arrive late for an appointment. The length of a session is 60 minutes.
*Late cancellation (less than 24 hours before) and/or Missed Appointments are billed to the client for one-half the amount of our full fee. In the case of illness or emergency, please notify us as soon as possible and no later than 9:00 a.m. the day of the appointment. Notification can take place via email or by phone. Please leave a message if you get voice mail. If your appointment is cancelled or missed, please contact us via email or phone to reschedule.
*If more than two sessions are no-shows or late cancellations; payments for future sessions will need to be submitted 24 hours in advance via our online payment process.
