This is really exciting! I'd love for my husband and I to register. However, I need more information about the timing and the specific time for the 1 hour weekly commitment. I work standard 9-5 hours, but my husband works 3rd shift (night hours) and goes to school several days during the week, so our time together in the home is limited. So, I want to make sure we can make the time commitment with our current schedules. Another option may be to register for a summer class, if they will be offered over the summer, as my husband will not be enrolled in school this summer? Also, please let me know if you have any great contacts doing this type of work in NC. Thanks for all your efforts to foster and sustain black love and marriages!

We're excited that you are excited. The couples class bar above has the current class schedule. One option is for one spouse to register for a class and you notify us what time would be convenient for the other spouse. We could then as it gets closer to the class time provide you with 2 different passwords that would allow access to the two different class times. Also….we will have classes ongoing.

This class AWESOME!!! Attended your intro class in DC…..but the commute would have been a killer for me!! This is perfect because we wanted to talk your regular sessions before….YOU GUYS ARE HOPE BUILDERS on a true MISSION!!! We will be registering soon!!
I think this is awesome and reasonably priced. This is the key to strengthening Black marriages and thus Black families.

I live in close to Atlanta I think this type of opportunity can help my husband and I. Are there anything available out here that you know of. I agree your marriage is what you put into it.

Do you know of any classes similar to the ones that you hold, in the Dallas area. Most of the ones I've looked into (geared towards African Americans) on the smartmarriage site are located on the East Coast. I would love to interact with other like minded couples who want to add more gravy to their relationship.TIA

We just learned of a marriage education contact in Texas and an upcoming workshop on Aug. 28th in Houston. I know you’re located in Dallas and that’s almost 4 hours away from Houston. But, I think it would be worth looking into to see if there are weekend retreats, etc. or if they have contacts in Dallas. Also, we will be sure to keep you in mind when we go online with our classes. That should be really fun! Their contact info is:
