Meet The Team
At BlackLoveAndMarriage.com we value REAL LOVE, REAL TALK, & REAL GROWTH AND CHANGE! Every single one of us holds these values close to our heart and take what we do here at BLAM seriously. Co-Founders Ayize & Aiyana Ma’at are thrilled to have such gifted and prolific writers on our team. Trust us-they are on a mission.
So, what is the writing team’s mission?
Simple. To help people increase their self-awareness and overcome life’s obstacles by challenging us to look within, tell the truth and commit to change.
Through each of us doing our part, we will transform the image and quality of relationships in the African-American community and the nation one commitment at a time. Wanna get in touch with one of BLAM’s writers? CLICK HERE.

Ilex Bien-Aime
My name is Ilex Bien-Aime, I am originally from Freeport, Bahamas but was raised in Ft.Lauderdale, FL. I currently reside in Washington, D.C. with my wife of two years. I enjoy writing and having open dialogue about marriage and relationships. Often times the male perspective goes unheard and this is why I write. Men Are From Mars and Women Are From Venus but now we have to coexist on Earth together!
Lana Moline
“Thought provoking” and “impacting positive change” are just two of the ways to describe Lana Moline’s writing which has been featured in The New Orleans Tribune Newspaper, The Louisiana Weekly Newspaper, Women of Excellence Magazine, Insight Youth Resources Magazine, The Keene Star Newspaper and now Blackloveandmarriage.com. She has a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Print Journalism and African American History from Loyola University, and has worked as a columnist and feature writer. She created the blog – Lana Moline Speaks- 3 years ago as a gateway that shoots straight from the heart. She uses the simplicity of every day to unlock subtle yet poignant life lessons. She has been married 11 years to Video Production Specialist, Emile C. Moline, Jr. who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcasting Communications and a Master’s of Business Administration. Together the media professionals are raising 3 amazing kids and started Multifacets Media Solutions, an editorial and video production company. Lana believes that not only are we our brother’s keepers but that true prosperity is a result of motivating and encouraging others.
