The Chemistry Is Hot Between Beyonce And Jay In Her Video… Drunk In Love (Explicit)

I’m not really a big Beyonce fan…but Daaaayum.  When I saw this video….I had to pause for a second because the chemistry between this married couple (Bey & Jay) was hot.  Based off the comments and thumbs down to this video it’s clear that many people aren’t used to seeing Beyonce be so explicit.  My response to that is GET OVER IT.

In working with couples, the Mrs. and I often see that people are afraid to be their most complete and authentic selves.  We actually teach vulnerability and working to be sooo attuned with your partner that you know all of them (figuratively speaking), as you walk with them toward understanding the essence of who they are at the core of their being.  I’m saying all of this to say that there’s more to a person than what you see.  And that’s o.k….THAT’S NORMAL.

If there’s nothing more to you than what we see…..go see a therapist.  You need  to get to know you better.

Back to the video yall,

I applaud Bey & Jay for making marriage look sexy, enticing, exciting, and happy.  With sooo few images of positive black relationships in the media, this video was refreshing.  If more couples connected like they connected in the video there would be more happy marriages.  If more couples had passion like they spoke about in the video there would be more two parent households.  If more couples talked about each other like they talked about each other in the video….there would be more respect and love between.
