My Inlaws Go EVERYWHERE We Go And I’m Sick Of It

My inlaws want to come out with us everytime that we plan to step out of the house. Whether it’s a holiday, or we are going out for a movie or a drive, be it anything and they can’t see us happy. Due to their persistant efforts of trying to come out with us, every month my husband tells me that we should take them out in our car for a dinner and movie, but I am a working lady and I hardly have time for this, plus I have been doing this for the past 2 years & now I am tired of keeping them happy by sacrificing my own happiness. What should I do?
I came from a big family and too much is bad enough. There’s always a time for everything. Maybe set a schedule on when and where to go since you have a close family ties with your extended family and have your own bonding time with your fam, that will work. 🙂
My wife wants my in-laws to go everywhere with us, on our vacation, to things that we do as a family and i dont like it. They are retired and i let her know that she needs to let them find their own activities during their retirement years. When she suggests that they go do the things we do as a family i dont go, she gets mad and go without me.I dont want to be around my own folks like that and hers either. She don’t realize what we do as a family is what i want to do with my own family not extended family.
I'm not sure what the age of you in-laws are but I'm assuming they're over 62. You wife just may want to spend more time with her parents because they don't have that much time left (of able mind and body).
