    That was heart warming to see. What an awesome dad. I have to disagree with some of the commenters. Coming together "for the kids" isn't always the best decision. Sometimes kids are going to come from relationships that weren't good matches. Staying together just for the kids is ultimately a disservice to them. My parents didn't stay together, each got married to different people, and I'm glad they did. The key is to coparent, and work together, not necessarily stay together.

    I think the biggest thing any person can do to promote family is to be true to your family, by being true to your vows. Money can buy press agents, and photo opps. Integrity is a whole other thing. I am not easily swayed by his show of fatherhood. If you are not able to put them first by working lovingly with their mother, it’s bunk. Let’s take a look at Grant Hill.

    I was already a DWade cheerleader and now I have a greater sense of respect for him as a black man. I only hope him and his ex will come together for the sake of the kids. Kids need both parents in their life. I wish them the best!
