i think some of these couples were great but they could have left off alicia keys and naomi campbell just to name a few. i do not feel they are positive examples of what a strong relationship is. I think my generation in general has changed marriage and relationships into a joke. i am 23, btw. and i love the ma'ats, faithful subscriber here! you guys should have made the list.

I love this topic. I think all of the couples that Essence chose were lovely together. In some instances, I think the husband made the wife look better and vice versa. My favorite would have to be Boris and Nicole. They just seem like they were meant to be together. I couldn't imagine them with other people and I'm sure they feel the same way.I like the fact that their beauty isn't just skin deep. From their Spina Bifida foundation for their daughter Sophie to their philanthrophy, I like the image that they reflect.

I love what you two are doing. I'm single and sometimes my married friends have such a negative connotation of marriage that it's discouraging. I'm glad that you all are providing a different point of view with solutions to issues rather than just complaints.

I think Essence did a great job but they missed a few couples like the Ma’ats! 🙂
I think that you described it best. A sexy couple is a confident, loving, monogamous couple that displays positive affection and love for one another.
