I’m VERY Hairy And Fear That Because Of It I’ll Never Find Love

VIDEO: Hi Ma’at’s (Hope I spelled that correctly) I love your website and videos, they are very encouraging and informational. I realize your site is geared more towards people who are married and/or in long-term committed relationships but I’m single and desperately need some advice.

I’m 25 and have never had a serious boyfriend, most of my focus has always been in school as well as a physical flaw I was recently able to address through laser hair removal sessions. Late in high school I noticed these dark hairs all around my neck, chin and jawline… I began plucking and by College it looked like I had a beard, very embarrassing and difficult to really go out and interact with others.  Last year I went through several laser hair removal sessions and its about 70-80% better but perhaps its much more noticeable than I thought.  I’ve never really thought men find me  attractive and if they do they aren’t interested in anything but the physical. Maybe its the men in the DMV area (just kidding) but perhaps I need to go out more but really mingle. Sometimes I guess I feel like when I did before my laser removal– unfeminine and not pretty… I’m hairier than the average female (hairy arms, long sideburns)  and perhaps men notice that and are completely turned off. It would be nice to meet some perspective men who aren’t afraid of commitment and can see beyond the physical. And with my recent (8 months now) decision to be  celibate until marriage I think things will be even more difficult to meet someone… any advice?

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you

Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew
of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates.

I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.

You have to improve your self esteem! Confidence attracts men like nothing else. Also, go to your doctor and ask about hormone therapy. For your physical appearance, try using Nair or other topical hair remover cream (no razors) ; when you pluck the hair, that is why it grows back rapidly..Remember, you cannot expect someone to love you if you don’t love you! I wish you the best of luck!

I started noticing a lot of hair when I was in high school too. When I had my third pregnanacy after after two miscarriages I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. Ovarian cysts caused my body to make too much testosterone, producing excess hair, and was the cause of my first two miscarriages. If you are like me and are also dealing with infrequent periods (as I was before I had my oldest son) youREALLY need to talk to you gynecologist.

My cousin & and a close friend of mine both have beards, chest hairs, and they have both been married for many years. The Ma'ats are correct. You have to learn to feel good about every bit of you, and someone will come along and feel good about you too.

Honestly it sounds like you are treating the symptoms and not the problem, don't try and get rid of your hair and? try to balance your hormones. It sounds like you naturally produce WAY too much testosterone for a female and you might need hormone therapy.

What a great messgae that can go for anyone in any situation.I was just saying yesterday that I feel I have to change myself a bit to attract men, cause I seeMOST what they are going for. But I'll continute to be the best person I can, and know the right ONE is there, and the union will be God ordained.I believe its a blessing that my vibe weeds out most jokers..As you said Aiyana there is someone for you, there? is someone for everyone…work on self and u will attract a like mind and spirit.
