What Do You Do When Both Of You Are Weak?
There’s been a bit of tension in the Ma’at home over the past couple of days. I’ve been a bit grumpy and agitated by the slightest of things. Aiyana has been more quiet than usual. There’s been this uneasiness infecting the typically pleasant atmosphere in our home. I raise my hand and acknowledge that I’m guilty of contributing to the distasteful energy…but it wasn’t until yesterday that I realized the reason I am where I am emotionally is because I’m feeling a bit weak and overwhelmed by the thought of my son’s upcoming surgery.
